Diana Boehm, fundraising writer with heart

Diana discovered her talent and passion for writing early in life.  It was this love of writing that led her to Ryerson Polytechnical Institute where she obtained a degree in Journalism in 1986.

After graduation, Diana wrote a number of articles for newsletters and community newspapers.  But she didn’t stay with this style of writing for long.  Instead, she found she was more comfortable writing copy for promotional material such as brochures, catalogues and direct mail letters.  She took a position as Promotions Coordinator with Scholastic Canada, where she remained for six years.

Then in 1994, Diana went on to work for the Toronto Humane Society as the Direct Marketing Manager.  It was here where she discovered her second passion – fundraising.

With a desire to combine her two passions, Diana launched her company, Creative Juices Promotions in 1998.  The company specializes in writing copy for a wide range of fundraising and promotional materials including direct mail, brochures, newsletters, annual reports, welcome packages and direct response television scripts.

Creative Juices Promotions also offers marketing strategy, concept development and project coordination for its clients upon request.  To date, Diana has written copy for over 100 non-profit organizations.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
